Another tip-top evening even if I say so myself. Temperature was just perfect and the wind was very manageable for the 36 riders that turned out. Lot of Mitres, lots of youth riders from PPYCC and a gaggle of riders from other clubs.
A couple of times starting with a 4 (inc Francis Schofield with a 4:57). Giles Ruffer was the highest placed Mitre with a 5:17. Kevin Phillips was the 2nd fastest Mitre with a 5:33 and Laurence Rose 3rd with a 5:39:6. Loads of other Mitres rode to times starting with a 5 including Karla Brody who rode to win the female Cat with a 5.54.1. Amy Watson-Davis was 2nd with a 6:48 and Gaynor Morgan 3rd with 7:07.
As ever many thanks to Tristan Court for pushing off / starting and Wendy Harman for finish line timing.
Until next week when we meet on Mill Hill, and the week after for the inaugural urban double-header hill climb (here and here).
